An impressive training course on Puppetry

An interesting training course on Vietnamese traditional Puppetry was held on 7th October, 2009 at NUAE main hall under the cooperation between NUAE and Vietnam Puppetry Theatre, which was to implement the nation - targeted education and training program as well as to welcome the new academic year 2009 - 2010. The course aimed at improving NUAE’s lecturers’ as well as staff’s knowledge and popularizing folk culture to help students exploit the beauty of folk arts.

 

According to Dr.Sc. Pham Le Hoa- NUAE rector, the training course was the first one of a series of NUAE’s  training courses on Vietnamese typical forms of arts holding in the academic year 2009 - 2010.

The training course on Puppetry started with the presentation on Vietnamese Puppetry by Excellent artist - Vuong Duy Bien - Director of Vietnam Puppetry Theatre, His excellent presentation was illustrated with a number of typical puppet dancing acts which made it interesting and enjoyable to the attendants. After his presentation, NUAE’s students were really eager to give related questions to be answers. All of his answers seemed to please the audiences. The feelings of “Interested”, “Excited”, “ new - fangled”  were common among all the participants.
