In the excited atmosphere celebrating the 33rd anniversary of the Southern Liberation Day (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May Day), in the afternoon of 24 April 2008, all university-level art students of K1 of the Faculty of Fine Arts Education opened “Student’s picture exhibition-2008” in the exhibition hall of the National University of Art Education.

Taking part in the exhibition are Dr.Sc Pham Le Hoa - Party Committee Secretary and Rector of the university, members of the University’s Party Committee and Managing Board, leaders of faculties, departments, all teachers of the Faculty of Fine Arts Education and a large number of cadres, teachers and students of the university as well.
This exhibition displayed 90 pictures created by 56 university-level students of K1. This time is also considered as the occasion for students of the first academic class of university-level arts to show their praiseworthy results after a year of study and practice with all their continuing efforts and love of arts as well as their abilities of creation.
Commenting about this exhibition, MA. Tran Dinh Tuan - Vice Rector - Interim Head of Faculty of Fine Arts Education said: “The special impression of this exhibition is that students showed their variation in creative ideas; each work has its own idea and high value of art, none of them is affected and ruled by old and repetitive ideas and styles. These works are made from various materials such as: oil-paint, pastel, silk, water-colors, Chinese ink-sketch and sculpture. These students’ great achievements not only indicate that students are utterly dedicated to their studies and their works but also show the fact that students have been being dramatically improved in their studies and bring happiness to their teachers as well.
