On the morning of July 1, 2024, the delegation of National University of Arts Education attended the event “Cyber and digital as new perspectives in music performance – Training activity for teachers” within the framework of the project “Promoting Music Education in Universities in Viet Nam - Vietnam Music Universities Spurring - VIETMUS” at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, Brussels, Belgium.
On the morning of July 1, 2024, the delegation of National University of Arts Education led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Dang Phuong - Chairman of the University’s Council, together with Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc - Head of Science, Technology and International Relations Department and Mrs. Le Thi Hien - Lecturer of Information and Language Center, Coordinator of the Project, attended the event “Cyber and digital as new perspectives in music performance - Training activity for teachers” within the framework of the VIETMUS project. The event was organized in Brussels, Belgium by the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (School of Arts of the Erasmushogeschool Brussel)

Attending the event were Mr. Luca Piovesan and Mr. Nuno Cerdanas from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel; Project leaders and coordinators from the European Union, such as: Palermo Conservatoire, Eramushogeschool Brussels, Yasar University (Turkey); project members from universities from Vietnam. Not only attending in person, project members from National University of Arts Education also attended the event online via Jitsi software.
The event was organized as an integrated Learning - Teaching - Training program, part of the Capacity building in Higher Education (CBHE) and Promoting Music Education in Universities in Vietnam (VIETMUS) projects funded by the Erasmus+. Through this program, National University of Arts Education aims to build the capacity to use digital technology in music training, practice and performance for lecturers and students of the University; broaden the creativity of lecturers and students in applying digital technology to the music curriculum, thereby promoting the image of NUAE.

The VIETMUS project is funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) under the powers delegated by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ funding programme. This is the first International Music Project in the fields of art in Vietnam, creating opportunities for training institutions that are members of the project in particular, and music training institutions in Vietnam in general, to access knowledge and skills in performing arts, modern musical instrument systems, and promote the capacity to deploy digital technology in training in the fields of art.
