On the morning of November 8, 2018, the National University of Art Education (NUAE) hosted the "NUAE Students with Start-up Ideas" Conference in 2018. The competition was launched to promote the mentality of starting up a business for students, and preparing the knowleges and skills about the ability to start a business for students while studying at the university. At the same time, realizing ideas and projects to start a business, contributing to create jobs for students after graduation.

NUAE Students with Start-up Ideas Contest launched in the last days of October. Start-up ideas came from the production and business fields of education, ideas developed from the models had been operating in the faculty, from the results of the scientific research and realistic social needs. In which there were many innovative ideas, new thinking, unique, sustainable development highly appreciated by the judges. Of the 5 projects presented at the contest, the jury selected two "SilQ International Painting Development Centers" (Nguyen Thi Hong Tuoi - K9C- Faculty of Fashion Studies) and "Small plan - Big hand" (group K13 - Faculty of Fine - Arts Education) to participate in the national round.
