On the morning of September 28, 2018, National University of Art Education organised the opening ceremony of new academic year 2018 - 2019. The ceremony took place with attendend of all the staff, lecturers and students, especially new students.

There were Assoc. Prof. Doctor Dao Dang Phuong - Party Secretary, Rector of the University and attended the ceremony and Members of the Executive Committee, Board of leaders, staff, lecturers and students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Doctor Dao Dang Phuong had noted the achievements of academic year 2017 - 2018. Collectives of the National University of Art Education had well accomplished missions on many fields of training, scientific research, international integration, renovation of infrastructure. Especially, on July 3, 2018, the University has been granted the Certificate of quality accreditation. These results, again, affirmed the status, prestige and quality of education of the National University of Art Education; to confirm the efforts of the staff and lecturers of the university and it has been the important leverage to help improving the University, constantly improve the quality of education towards regional and international quality standards.
Assoc. Prof. Doctor Dao Dang Phuong has sent a message to all staff, lecturers, employees, generations of students, senior students and especially new students will unite together, build strong university, successfully complete the mission of 2018 - 2019 academic year and the following years.
Also in the Opening Ceremony of 2018 - 2019 academic year, on behalf of lecturers, M.A Tran Vinh Khuong - Vice Dean of Music Education and Dang Quang Hai - K13 Fine Arts Education - student representative shared their work, study and expressed their joyful emotions on the opening day.

During the ceremony, M.S Le Ngoc Chien - Head of Political Education Office had announced the reward decisions for individuals and teams who have successfully completed the academic year’s tasks and new high achieved students in the 2018 enrollment.
On behalf of the Executive Board of the Trade Union, M.S Do Anh Tuan - President of the Trade Union, Director of the Center for Application and Development of Arts announced the award decision of the Vietnam Education Union to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the academic year and launching the movement of emulation in 2018 - 2019 academic year.
The academic year 2018 - 2019 of lecturers and students of the National University of Art Education has officially started. Both lecturers and students will be determined to achieve more excellence in teaching and learning in the new academic year.
