In the Morning of March 19, 2018, The Review Team of the Centre for Education Accreditation – Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) started the Review Visit at National University of Art Education, using the institutional accreditation standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the Opening Ceremony of the Institutional Accreditation Review Visit, participants include:

On behalf of the University, Doctor Dao Dang Phuong, Rector of National University Of Art Education, Assoc. Prof. Doctor Tran Dinh Tuan, Vice Director; MA Ngo Thi Hoa Binh, Head of Testing Department, the secretary of Self-Evaluation Committee; and members of National University of Art Education Self-Evaluation Committee together with Deans, Directors of functioning departments and representative of lecturers as well as representative of students.
Delivering a speech at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Doctor Nguyen Phuong Nga, Director of CEA-AVU&C, Counselor of the Review Team confirmed the importance of the objective accreditation; to ensure the main purpose of educational quality accreditation is to certainly obtain the significant standards of training and continuously improving, enhancing the training quality, to response the employers’ needs and to ensure the learners’ rights. The director also appreciated the corporation between the National Universiry of Art Education and CEA-AVU&C during the preparational process and proposed that the University continuously assisted the Review Team to the implementing process of quality accreditation activities.

On behalf of Ministry of Education and Training, Assoc. Prof. Doctor Mai Van Trinh, Director of Department of Quality management, highly appreciated the University’s preparation of conditions for the accreditation Review Visit, in addition emphasing that it was an important development of the University in accrediting the quality of education, an opportunity to detemine strengths, weaknesses,then adjusting the plan, improving the managed and teaching methods in order to enhance the quality of training and study.

Assoc. Prof. Doctor Dao Dang Phuong deliveried a speech about the overall of the University at the Opening ceremony. By the way, he appreciated the assistance of the Centre and the Review Team in completing the self-evaluation profiles, especially in the preliminary review visit with the significant suggestions and instructions. Assoc. Prof. Doctor Phuong committed that there would create the most favorable conditions for the Review team in accomplishing the task in this visit.

After the Opening Ceremony, in the following days, the Review Team thoroughly examined documents, evidences; conducted focus group interviews with the employers, student alumni, students; Deans, University Leaders, Leaders of University political and social Associations/Organizations, Directors of University Centers, representatives of lecturers and representatives of students. The Review Team also visited University laboratories and training and practical workshops. At the end of the Review, the Review Team would give suggestions in order to help improving and enhancing the University’s quality of training.
