Within the framework of international cooperative programs and activities in education, training and cultural exchange between Vietnam and Egypt, on March 14th, 2012, NUAE (Vietnam) and Alexandria University (Egypt) signed an agreement on cooperation.

Egyptian Ambassador to Vietnam Reda El Taify and his staff; Prof.Dr. Safaa Abd El Salam, Vice Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University attended the ceremony. From NUAE, there was the presence of the members of NUAE Board of Rectors and the representatives of departments.
On the discussion, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Le Hoa emphasized the achievement of NUAE in international cooperation in recent years. The university has welcomed a great number of artists and experts from institutions and well-known universities from all over the world to work and visit. The recent working visit of Prof.Dr. Safaa Abd El Salam to NUAE (from the end of February to the middle of March) created an opportunity for NUAE educators to exchange experience in fine art teaching, cultural heritage protection, exhibition organizing…. It was also a chance for NUAE teachers and students to enhance their understanding of Egyptian culture with its beauty, formed thousand years before. On be half of NUAE, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Le Hoa expressed the university’s warm welcome to Prof.Dr. Safaa Abd El Salam as well as the willingness to cooperate with Alexandria University in the future.
Egyptian Ambassador to Vietnam Reda El Taify showed his gratitude for the warm reception, given by NUAE teachers and students, which contributed to the success of their working visit. Ambassador also shared his hope for further cooperative activities between the two universities, consolidating the relationship between Vietnam and Egypt.

At the end of the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Le Hoa and Ambassador Reda El Taify signed an agreement on cooperation. According to this document, NUAE and Alexandria University will conduct more exchange activities and cooperation not only in training but also in exchange information in fine art and even in other fields of art and culture.
